The new generation has turned to Instagram, and Facebook found the solution: It will send you notifications on both platforms.
Facebook's aggressive expansion to all of the company's services has been perceived in recent months as it wants to take advantage of the popularity of WhatsApp and Instagram to support the social network. It may sound oxymoron, as Facebook counts 2+ billion users, however, the company is concerned that the new generation has turned its interest to messaging services, YouTube and Instagram.
So Facebook has begun testing to display social network alerts in the Instagram application, reminding the user that they have "digital life" and there. In the test, some users see a big signal for Facebook alerts on their profile and by clicking on it they are transferred directly to the Facebook app in the field of alerts.
It is not, however, the first time that Facebook has tried this. As the TechCrunch website reported last year, it had begun to show notifications from Instagram, Messenger and Facebook to all of its services, but it did not launch the feature. But it does not seem to have completely abandoned the idea.
