With the big success of "Ye", Kanye West has now with Beatles and Eminem the same number of albums that became No. 1 and reached the top of the American charts. The album "Ye", released on June 1, first appeared in No. 1 of the American Billboard 200 and became the eighth in the series that conquered the top. Only the Beatles and Eminem had done the same. By Thursday, "Ye" had sold 208,000 copies - including digital sales and streaming - according to Nielsen Music.
After a year of silence, Kanye West came back to the front and was engaged in the news in April when he became one of the few well-known African-Americans to publicly support Republican President Donald Trump. All of Kanye West's albums, in addition to the first "The College Dropout" in 2004, were at the top of the charts, as well as "Watch The Throne," a product of his collaboration with Jay-Z in 2011. On Friday 8th of the month released a new album of Kanye West with 7 songs and titled "Kids See Ghosts". The album was made in collaboration with Kid Cudi.
